Contact Resistance Measurement
High- and medium-voltage switchgear (circuit breakers, disconnecting switches, bus bars joints, cable splices, welding joints, fuses, etc.) require adequate and regular checkups and maintenance. During the checkups, contact resistance measurements should be performed. Surface properties, pressure, and oxidation on the surface of the contact directly affect the contact resistance value. High contact resistance causes reduced current carrying capacity and higher losses. Consequently, for example, the breaking unit of the circuit breaker can overheat and explode. Select and purchase test solutions for regularly checking contacts in our webshop. We have portable, lightweight testing solutions with very high output power capabilities.
