The Sonel MPI-540 meter is a superior multimeter ensuring high precision while combining the measuring abilities of multiple instruments. This multimeter is designed for commissioning electrical installations, both residential and industrial, and analyzing power quality with the same device.
Commissioning of electrical installations and measurement automation
Residential, commercial, and industrial electrical infrastructure can be safely tested thanks to MPI-540. With a test voltage of up to 5 kV, the MPI-540 can measure insulation resistance up to 100 GΩ, making it perfect for use in high-voltage applications. Test results can identify the installation’s safety status. And even the measurement can be simplified and automated using:3-phase power quality analyzer
MPI-540 / MPI-540-PV multimeter analyses power quality parameters in Live mode and logs them for future analysis. Live mode enables a real-time graphical display of results. The user can choose what parameters to monitor and plot in accordance to S class of standard EN 61000-4-30: voltage and current waveforms (oscilloscope), voltage and current time plots, a phasor graph, the presentation of various parameters in tabular form, and a spectrum graph of current and voltage harmonics.Large touch screen
To ensure a clear view and readability of results, the MPI-540 is equipped with a large touch screen (7 ‘’) having a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The display enables better visualization, i.e. graph plotting, and data analysis during and after the test. Regardless of weather conditions, the interface is clearly visible. And, even with dielectric gloves on, the device can be operated using included stylus. The durability and portability of Sonel MPI-540
The portable electrical meter can be taken anywhere and used for both indoor and outdoor applications, making it a must-have tool for professionals and casual users. The multimeter MPI-540 will function well in adverse environmental conditions. A specialized IP51-rated housing protects against dust and water entry. It is resistant to mechanical harm, and a particular design allows you to simply safeguard the touch screen by shielding it with the meter's cover. It not only protects the device itself from damage, but it also allows you to carry and use it in various positions.Features
MPI-540 / MPI-540-PV can record power quality parameters at 50/60 Hz in line with EN 61000-4-30 S class:MPI-540 / MPI-540-PV can be used for all measurements required for electrical system commissioning in compliance with applicable regulations:
If you are in search of a multimeter with an even more broad feature list, check out MPI-540 PV and MPI-540 PV Solar.
