    The Insulation Resistance Meter Sonel MIC-5010 is a versatile and reliable tool for measuring the resistance of objects up to 15TΩ with 5000V DC voltage rate test. This meter is suitable for use by service technicians, electricians, and other professionals in the electrical industry.

    How to use Insulation Resistance Meter Sonel MIC-5010

    The user can easily verify if a cable is under voltage, check continuity of cables, e.g. PE connections and equipotential bonding – using the current of at least 200 mA, according to EN 61557-4. The meter also has a third socket (GUARD), which can be used to verify the amount of leakage current that may “escape” through faulty or contaminated insulation.
