RMO-10H HANDHELD OHMMETER
The RMO10H is a portable, battery-operated micro-ohmmeter designed for measuring low resistance. When non-inductive resistance is examined during manufacturing, maintenance, and commissioning inspections or testing in high-induction field situations, it is intended to offer quick, repeatable, and accurate observations.True DC ripple-free current generation is made possible by the high-capacity Li-Po battery.
Typical applications include the following:
- Checking cable connections, wire resistance, and cables
- Resistance measurements for switches, busbars, relays, and welding joints
- Verification of protective bonding systems and lightning protection
HANDHELD OHMMETER DESIGN
With a 1-click test interface, RMO10H is excellent for testing in the field and in the factory.This is accomplished with a simple keyboard, menu layout, and adaptable duplex probe with test button. Even in an electrically noisy environment, it is intended to give quick, precise, and consistent measurements.
Multiple measurements are made possible by the large Li-Po battery. RMO10H can do more than 2000 tests with a 10 A test current on a fully charged battery. Up to 10,000 test results, including values for resistance, test current, and voltage drop, can be stored internally on RMO10H devices.
The results can be transferred to a PC with the use of Bluetooth communication.
The pass/fail criteria applied by the Rmax function is another aspect. If this feature is activated, the RMO10H device will warn the user if the measured value exceeds the predefined Rmax resistance value.
The RMO10H device's DV-Win software is an application suite of utilities based on the Windows operating system. It makes it possible for a typical PC and the RMO10H device to communicate over Bluetooth. The software's primary characteristics are:
