The Insulation resistance meter Sonel MIC-5005 is a reliable tool for measuring insulation resistance up to 15 TΩ. Its maximum measurement current is 1.2 mA or 3mA, which guarantees charging a high capacity object in a short time. Each measurement, whether the programmed time expires or is manually interrupted, ends with the meter discharging the object. The device has unique algorithms that allow it to recognise the nature of the voltage present on the object, which makes it possible to carry out measurements in the presence of very strong electromagnetic fields where this was previously not feasible.
